Mesquite played a great game, but in the end, the determination and teamwork of the Yellowjackets led them to victory.
Player Spotlight
Our quarterbacks Landyn Locke and Mason Marshall delivered an excellent performance! Locke had 8 completions out of 10 attempts, leaving him with an .800% completion percentage, 180 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Marshall had 7 out of 9 completions, leaving him with a .778 completion percentage, 148 yards, and 3 touchdowns.
WR Ashten Emory is a force to be reckoned with on the gridiron. With an impressive 13 carries, Emory racked up 146 rushing yards, averaging 11.2 yards per carry. He also secured a touchdown.
It was also another great game for WR Triston Gooch with 6 receptions and 159 yards receiving. He made some phenomenal catches and gained significant yardage for the Yellowjackets, making him an important part of the Yellowjackets offense.
