Rockwall
On Saturday, the Rockwall Yellowjacket Football Team went head-to-head with the Waxahachie Indians. Rockwall entered this match with something to prove, considering they fell to Waxahachie in the area round of playoffs in 2022. The ROCK WALL, our offensive line, was outstanding and we want to highlight some of the kids that gave it their all during this game. So this is a special shoutout to Chase Iwunze, Cameron Johnson, Chris Green, Ben Billings, and Michael Wells for a stellar performance! We also can’t forget about Senior QB Mason Marshall, who currently has a 71% completion rate for the year and the season isn’t over yet! ๐ฅ Last, but certainly not least, we want to give a special shoutout to the kicker who secured this victory for the team. Luke Watkins nailed a 22-yard field goal with just 1:25 left in the 4th quarter. They say diamonds are made under pressure, and Luke Watkins proved it! Way to go guys!๐
On Saturday (11/25/23), the Rockwall Yellowjacket Football Team will face off against the Westfield Mustangs at 3pm at Pfield Stadium in Pflugerville. Westfield placed 1st in their district bracket with a 7-0 record and beat out Klein Cain last Friday. We are anticipating this to be a great game since Westfield traveled all the way to the quarterfinals, and just fell 7 points short to Duncanville in 2022. If the Yellowjackets are successful, they will move on to the quarterfinals where they will face either Duncanville or The Woodlands.

Last Friday, the Rockwall-Heath Football Team battled it out with the Duncanville Panthers. As many of you know, Duncanville came out on top in the 2022 championship.
