Player Spotlight
Senior Kate Lindsay was on fire last night night! She contributed 9 kills with an 81.8% kill percentage and 2 solo blocks. Seniors Harley Krause, Kayla Bullard, and Sydney Lafferty all contributed more than 5 kills each. Overall, the team ended the night with a total of 38 kills. Senior Sophia Armstrong celebrated her 1,000th career dig last week and added another 10 during the match. Truly an outstanding performance by these young ladies and the Rockwall Yellowjacket Volleyball Team in general. What a game!
What’s Next?
On Tuesday (10/17/23), our Rockwall Yellowjacket Volleyball Team will face off against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks at home. Currently, Rockwall holds a 10-0 record and Rockwall-Heath holds a 6-3 record. Rockwall-Heath will be looking to improve their record as they currently sit in third place. A win against Rockwall could cause quite the shakeup for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. Will they redeem themselves against the Yellowjackets this Tuesday or will the Yellowjackets remain undefeated? Only time will tell, but it’s going to be a great game!
